Everything on this mower was hand fabricated, built, rebuilt, and refinished here at Askin Motorsports.
You diehard STORMER fans will surely notice the likeness of the old #94/ #008. I built this mower as the "new and improved" version of a very well tested set up that works. Other than the chromoly tube chassis, and carbon fiber body panels it was built part for part like the old mower. It even has the same steering (some of you know what I am talking about).
The mower went thru final assembly the end of 2002 and was run in black primer for several races to get it dialed in. It went thru the paint booth in December and is ready to run. We will test and tune with the "small" motor(16hp V-Twin Briggs) to work the bugs out of the chassis, then the 20 horse will be mounted for USLMRA races.
Don't get bent out of shape. I was just kidding about the tube chassis, and carbon fiber body parts.
All parts are steel...................
